After some messing around I found the way to trigger the second bug is to trigger a heart event while they are following you. As for the invisible glitch, I have yet to find a way in game to prevent other than not watching tv in the evening.
So I have found two bugs. First one is that when you watch tv with her for the first few hearts you go invisible until you talk with an npc. Then when you get to the point that you can undress her to her underwear you no longer go invisible after watching tv, but they are no longer following you.

I keep getting an error with the bath scene. When I click on the towel all I can do is click the rollback to go back to right before clicking on the towel.
